Laurie Johnson has been with Matheson Trucking since 1987. Her initial responsibilities included office management, cash management, financial accounting, property management, and computer systems.

Prior to Matheson Trucking, Laurie was employed for 10 years at Blue Cross of California in the General Accounting and Corporate Investment Divisions. Her involvement in her father's family business prepared her well for the Matheson family business. She obtained her education in Finance and Accounting from California State University, Hayward.

Today, Laurie is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of all business units.
