Matheson Postal Services and Matheson Mail Transportation establish a control center to dispatch and monitor United States Postal Service (USPS) highway contract routes for Peak Season 2007. By providing 24/7 coverage, we were able to deliver more services to the USPS and provide greater geographical coverage.

Employees working in the Matheson Control Control Center (MCC) were responsible for viewing and updating contracts, tracking departures and arrivals, dispatching trucks, and notifying subcontractors of changes to contracts.

Our first year of MCC operations has already resulted in new improvements. It provided us with an excellent opportunity and insight as to how a year-round control center would benefit current and future contracts with the USPS.
