Careers at Matheson
Success You Can Build On
Every family deserves to receive their mail safely and on time. Our truck drivers and material handlers help make that happen.
When you join the Matheson team, you can expect to be treated with respect and integrity. We believe in empowering our employees to achieve success, and to demonstrate excellence in all they do. With a wide variety of job opportunities available, learn why so many people are joining the Matheson family for their material handling or truck driving careers.
We believe in balancing work and family by providing our drivers with truck driving jobs that minimize the conflict between your job and living your everyday life or seeing your family. We know that reconciling the two can be difficult for a lot of drivers, and that is why we make sure that you always know your schedule — especially when it comes to knowing exactly when you can expect to be home.
Our drivers are expected to pursue the highest quality, act with honesty, and treat everyone with respect.
Becoming a Matheson Driver
We are committed to providing our employees with a safe and stable work environment that has equal opportunity for learning and personal growth. Creativity and innovation are encouraged to improve the service we deliver. Above all, employees are provided the same respect, and can-do attitude by their supervisors and coworkers within the organization as they are expected to share externally with every Customer.
We are aware of the difficulties often associated with material handling or truck driving jobs, such as the uneven hours, days away from home, or inconsistent paychecks. That is why we don’t operate like typical trucking jobs — our drivers are paid by the hour, rather than by the mile, and you will always be paid for all hours worked. Our loads are no-touch loads and furthermore, you can rest easy knowing you will have the same schedule week over week, so you will always know when you will be at work and when you’ll be home.
Matheson provides comprehensive employee benefits, including competitive salaries, comprehensive medical, life and retirement plans, employee assistance programs and additional fringe benefits.
