About The Job

Matheson is looking for Class A Team Drivers for our routes out of Salt Lake City, UT.

  • Winter & Night Driving Required
  • Existing teams are encouraged to apply

We offer the following for Class A Drivers at Matheson:

  • US Mail Hauling
  • Dedicated runs
  • Hourly wages paid weekly
  • 24×7 Call Center Support
  • Sign-on and employee referral incentives
  • Competitive benefits package that includes, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and paid time off

Compensation:

  • $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • $32.97 per hour with benefits
  • $40.28 per hour without benefits
  • Refer a Driver and receive an additional $3,500 paid out while they complete their first year.

Route:

  • Dedicated Team OTR, Salt Lake City, UT to Des Moines, IAand back.

Schedule:

  • One Route is around 68-70 hours per week
  • Manager will discuss the route in more detail during phone interview.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Winter & Night Driving
  • 21 years or older with a valid Class A Driver’s license
  • 2 years of tractor-trailer experience with at least 12 months of experience in the last three years.
  • Operate manual transmission
  • Acceptable driving record, no serious violations in the last 3 years
  • 3 years of continuous US residency, USPS requirement

Offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of:

  • Drug screen
  • USPS criminal background check
  • Valid Medical Certificate
