About The Job

Matheson is looking for Lead Material Handlers for our location in Atlanta, GA for our THS station.

  • As a Lead Material Handler, you will oversee, facilitate, and lead the work of the station’s Material handlers while assisting them load and unload mail in and out of trucks and/or aircraft containers, driving efficiency and productivity at your assigned warehouse station.

We offer the following for Lead Material Handlers at Matheson:

  • Hourly wages paid weekly
  • Competitive pay and benefits
  • Full-time schedules
  • Compensation:
  • $15.88hourly + $4.54hourly stipend
  • $15.88 is the base hourly rate, plus the additional benefit stipend paid out for the first 40 hours worked per week.
  • Weekly pay

Schedule:

  • *Shift ending time can vary due to flight arrival times.
  • *Start/end times may vary due to operational demand & schedule availability based on operational demand.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • Any prior leadership role experience
  • Previous experience directing the work of others and communicating daily productivity goals
  • Must be able to work one of the schedules listed
  • Must have Safety Boots (3/4 ankle-high boots)
  • USPS requirements for handling mail are 5 years of continuous US residency
