About The Job

Matheson is looking for Lead Material Handlers for our location in Raleigh, NC for our THS contract.

  • As a Lead Material Handler, you will oversee, facilitate, and lead the work of the station’s Material handlers/Mail sorters while assisting them load and unload mail in and out of trucks and/or aircraft containers, driving efficiency and productivity at your assigned warehouse station.

We offer the following for Lead Material Handlers at Matheson:

  • Hourly wages paid weekly
  • Competitive pay and benefits

Compensation:

  • $14.90 base hourly rate
  • Health & Welfare benefit stipend of $4.54 per hour for the first 40 hours worked per week.
  • A percentage of H&W is invested as a contribution toward employees’ 401K. For more information, please speak to a Recruiter.

Schedule:

  • Tue-Sun 5:30pm-End of shift (approx. 10:30pm)
  • Tue-Sun 10pm-End of shift (approx. 7:30Am)
    • Start/end times may vary depending on operational demand and Lead responsibilities

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • Any prior leadership role experience
  • Previous experience directing the work of others and communicating daily productivity goals
  • Must have Safety Boots (3/4 ankle-high boots)
  • USPS requirements for handling mail are 5years of continuous US residency
