Lead Material Handler

Matheson is looking for Lead Material Handlers for our location in Richmond, VA for our THS contract.

• As a Lead Material Handler, you will oversee, facilitate, and lead the work of the station’s Material handlers/Mail sorters while assisting them load and unload mail in and out of trucks and/or aircraft containers, driving efficiency and productivity at your assigned warehouse station.

Schedule:

• Full Time-Sunday, Tuesday- Thursday 6:45 pm to 10:00 pm & Monday.-Wednesday 11:00 pm to 5:00 am
• *Start/end times may vary due to operational demand & schedule availability based on operational demand.

Compensation:

• $15.32 base hourly rate+ $4.54 hourly stipend
• $ 15.32is the base hourly rate, plus the additional benefit stipend paid out for the first 40 hours worked per week.

Requirements:

• Warehouse experience preferred
• Any prior leadership role experience
• Previous experience directing the work of others and communicating daily productivity goals
• Must be able to work one of the schedules listed
• Must have Safety Boots (3/4 ankle-high boots)
• USPS requirements for handling mail are 3 years of continuous US residency
