About The Job

Matheson is looking for Material Handlers for our location in Charleston, WV for our THS contract.

  • Material Handlers are responsible for loading and unloading mail in and out of trucks and/or aircraft containers. Warehouse experience is not required.

We offer the following for Material Handlers at Matheson:

  • Hourly wages paid weekly
  • Competitive pay and benefits
  • Part-time schedules

Compensation:

  • $13.90base hourly rate
  • Health & Welfare benefit stipend of $4.54per hour for the first 40 hours worked per week.
  • A percentage of H&W is invested as a contribution toward employees’ 401K. For more information, please speak to a Recruiter.

Schedule:

  • Sun: 12:30 AM-8:00 AM
  • Monday: 7:00 PM-10:00 PM
  • Tuesday: Off
  • Wed-Fri: 12:30 AM-4:30 AM & 7:00 Pm-11:30 Pm
  • Saturday: 12:30 AM-4:30 AM
  • This specific position does require flexibility within availability given your schedule would rotate on a week-to-week bases fluctuating between 20-25 hours weekly.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 40-60 lbs.
  • Must be able to work one of the schedules listed
  • Must have Safety Boots (3/4 ankle-high boots)
  • USPS requirements for handling mail are 3 years of continuous US residency
