About The Job

Matheson is looking for Seasonal Forklift Operatorfor our location in Brandywine, MD.
  • This is a Seasonal Forklift Operator, from November until December/January.
  • Seasonal Forklift Operators work in a team to load and unload sacks, tubs, and trays of mail into and out of aircraft containers from 5 ft. to 8 ft. high. Sort, label, package, route, and work systems in a timely and accurate manner. Use a maneuver conveyor and rolling equipment. Keep records and reports when needed and perform all duties according to Matheson’s safety rules.


  • *Start/end times may vary due to operational demand & schedule availability based on operational demand.


  • $23.95hourly + $4.54hourly stipend
  • $23.95is the base hourly rate, plus the additional benefit stipend paid out for the first 40 hours worked per week.

Job Requirements


  • Previous forklift operating experience
  • Ability to lift 40-60 lbs
  • Must have Safety Boots (3/4 ankle-high boots)
  • USPS requirements for handling mail are 5years of continuous US residency
